St. Louis beats Detroit in more than baseball

What an exciting year to move to St. Louis, Mo. This past weekend, the Gateway City with it’s gleaming Arch (which just turned 41) took a title away from Detroit, Mich.

I know what’s racing through your head right now… the Cardinals‘ exciting victory Friday over the Tigers to take the World Series title. This, however, would make for boring blog material.

Un-week

The rocket launcher has been un-stolen. Un-stolen, you ask?

Well, apparently, it was never stolen. After no official results from the video tape, I got word on Monday afternoon that the principal might know where the launcher was. Apparently it had been found in a trashcan. In my mind, I had visions of the used, abused, and discarded launcher found broken in the dumpster outside the school. I was wrong.

Detox complete

After last week’s over-excellent turn of events, I decided to leave town to visit my best friend in Indiana. This was a good choice. I was able to separate mentally and physically from St. Louis.

At 11:30 a.m. Monday I got an email (thank goodness I happen to check) that the next day I would report to Turner 9th Grade Center. So I did.
